Shaun MacLean A.C.I.B., B.Sc. (Fin.Serv.), M.B.A.

Shaun is a fully qualified TEFL teacher who has specialised in training and personal coaching, and has a background in International Banking, Aviation, Consultancy and Project Management.

Shaun worked for HSBC in France, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Australia and various countries in Europe.

According to the Singapore Governement, greater emphasis needs to be placed on written Business English. To meet this challenge Shaun retrained in this field and is now involved with several language schools as well as Pacific Advisory Services' SoftSkills Division. He has taught staff of well-known, large organisations in Singapore and abroad and particularly enjoys the successful transfer of knowledge based skills and soft skills.

With more than 30 years experience in the financial world, having worked for HSBC, Standard Chartered and Ahli Bank of Kuwait, Shaun particularly enjoys teaching Business Writing skills in this sector.

Shaun hold an M.B.A. from the city of London University and is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Patricia Peters M.M., M.A.

Patricia came to Singapore via The Netherlands, Hungary, Romania and Turkey with a strong background and many years experience in Management Training and Education.

Patricia worked for ING Bank from 1987 to 2004 and, amongst other things, had responsibilities for the development and execution of Educational and Training Programmes for staff and management of the bank, as well as implementing organisational changes due to mergers, re-structuring and regulatory imperatives.

The Development and Coaching programmes Patricia ran focussed on Managment skills (appraisal methods, (middle) performance management skills, time management, managing conflicts), Communication skills, Commercial skills (client contact; planning accounts; acquisition and retainment), and Presentation skills.  

Patricia holds a Master of Marketing Degree from Tilburg University, The Netherlands, a Master's Degree in Education and a Bachelor Degree in Pedagogy from Radboud University, The Netherlands.
